This 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race car was purchased by the current owner in 2011 and was used in the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge. The car is finished in white and powered by a 3.8-liter flat-six linked to a sequential six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 18″ center-lock wheels, a RaceCam video recording system, a rear wing, a roll cage, a carbon-fiber OMP racing seat, a MoTeC digital dashboard, and a FireSense fire suppression system. The car was last raced in 2015 and has since been used for shows and exhibitions. The GT3 Cup was based on the road-legal 911 GT3 RS and is distinguished by widened bodywork, a lower front splitter, a revised front air dam, an enlarged rear wing, vented acrylic quarter windows, and front wheel arch extensions to accommodate a wider front axle. This example is finished in white and features red tow hooks, yellow accents, and a duct and pins on the hood.
