This 2006 Hummer H1 Alpha is an open-top model powered by a 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel V8 linked with a five-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck is finished in Flame Red Pearl over a black leather interior and is equipped with the Adventure Package which added a winch, electronically-locking front and rear differentials, and two-piece 173 forged aluminum wheels with dual beadlocks.
Hummer produced 729 examples of the H1 Alpha, and this example is reportedly one of 57 open-top models finished in Flame Red Pearl R35 for the model year. Two-piece 173 forged aluminum wheels feature dual beadlocks and are mounted with 37×12.53 Goodyear Wrangler MT/R tires. The truck is equipped with a Central Tire Inflation System CTIS, which allows the tire pressure to be adjusted for the front, rear, or all four wheels while driving. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted inboard disc brakes all around. The cabin features front and rear bucket seats as well as a center rear jump seat upholstered in black leather with contrasting stitching and piping. The forward-tilting hood opens to reveal a 6.6-liter GM Duramax turbodiesel V8 that produced 300 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is delivered to all four wheels through an Allison five-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and Eaton electronically-locking front and rear differentials. Dual fuel tanks were equipped from the factory and enable a total fuel capacity of 51.5 gallons. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
