This Superformance MKII is a slab-side Cobra replica that was acquired by the current owner from Hillbank Motor Corporation of Irvine, California in 2022. It is powered by a Roush 331SRX V8 mated to a Tremec five-speed manual gearbox and is finished in Wimbledon White over red leather upholstery. Equipment includes chrome 15″ knock-off wire wheels, Wilwood disc brakes, a wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel, Stewart Warner instrumentation, a limited-slip differential, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley carburetor, MSD ignition components, and an aluminum radiator. This slab-side MKII shows 136 miles!
The steel-reinforced slab-side fiberglass body is finished in Wimbledon White and mounted to a Tojeiro-style 3″ steel round tube chassis. Exterior details include fender vents, windshield wipers, wind wings, a bullet-style side mirror, a Le Mans-style fuel filler, dual exhaust outlets, and chrome bumperettes with tube guards. A soft top, side curtains, and tonneau cover will accompany the car. Chrome 15″ knock-off wire wheels are mounted with 205/65 Firestone Precision Touring tires. The car is fitted with rack and pinion steering and rides on a transverse leaf spring suspension with Spax adjustable shocks at all four corners. Braking is handled by Wilwood discs with four-piston calipers up front, two-piston calipers out back, and dual master cylinders. The cockpit is fitted with fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in red leather upholstery that extends to the dashboard and door panels. Color-coordinated carpets line the footwells, and additional appointments include an analog clock, AC-branded pedals, a lockable glove compartment, a heater and defroster, and a dashboard-mounted rearview mirror. The front-hinged hood opens to reveal a Roush Performance 331SRX V8 engine that was reportedly installed in 2021 and features an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley carburetor, MSD ignition components, and tubular exhaust headers. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential.
